Mr. Jan van Lakerveld Bisdom PhD June 30th, 1830 in Law at Leiden, the Belgian riots he went 3 October 1830 as a volunteer at the Mobile Civic guard in service, then Officer until 1833, metal Knight cross, he was appointed in 1833 to Attorney at the Arrondisements Court in Gorinchem in 1836 and also to Receiver of the pilotage.
Law organization in 1838 he was appointed clerk at the district court in Gorinchem, through this appointment is wrongs overnight, he requested and received his honorable discharge in 1842 he established himself as Manufacturer, Brickyard, to Oudshoorn. The 2 January 1850, he received his appointment as Mayor and Secretary of Alblasserdam and the 20 Februari1852 well as Mayor and Secretary of Old Alblas.Op 1 October 1886 he was at his request (78jarige age) issued by HM honorable discharge from reported Relations Mayor of Alblasserdam and Oud-Alblas 1
