Deceased was in his usual health on Thursday, but took ill at night, and Dr. Patrick, of Scottsdale, ordered his removal to Launceston Hospital. He was brought into the city by first train yesterday, but died within half an hour of his admission to the institution. Deceased, who was 65 years of age, leaves a grown-up family of sons and daughters.
