She was residing at Pineflete, Manor Road in Lymington, Hampshire, England on Sep 29, 1939 10 Edith was described in the census as a single woman whose occupation was a retired nurse, incapacitated. Included at this address were Muriel E Julius and Charlotte Brown. [All three women were described as "incapacitated" this may have had a different meaning than it does today] She had an estate probated to Muriel Edith Julius on May 31, 1944 in Llandudno, Conwy, Wales. 11 Probate reads: "HAMPTON Edith Colet [sic] of Malunna Milton Grove New Milton Hampshire spinster died 21 December 1944 at Furzie Close Barton-on-Sea Hampshire Probate Llandudno 31 May to Muriel Edith Julius spinster.
